Specialised One-to-One daytime Support, giving time off to the Carer

Respite Care is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays are for Self-Catering accommodation only, without Respite Care.
There are fixed prices for self-catering accommodation for two, including 7 hours' daily one-to-one care & support for one person with special needs.

Bookings for Respite Care are from morning to morning

REDUCED RATES apply for stays of a whole week (which includes four days of respite care) =
Sunday to Sunday (Seven nights).

Extra supervised time may be provided if arranged beforehand (up to a maximum of 9 hours in total in any 24 hour period).

Extra nights are also possible, again if arranged beforehand, on a per-night basis with two persons sharing the room. This will be at the same rate as for 'Self-Catering Accommodation Only'.

A 30% deposit is requested when booking your stay.

Payments by cash or cheque. We can also take credit cards online, via PayPal.

We also provide self-catering accomodation only, without Respite Care.


On your day of arrival: Ideally, our guests should arrive late morning, in good time for a cup of coffee & a bickie (or similar). This gives us all the opportunity to meet properly and get to know one another a bit.
Following this, the person with the disability is invited to stay in the house with Evi, while the parent/carer will be asked to stay in the Garden Room - or the garden - until lunchtime (or for at least one hour after arrival). This is to make sure both Special Guest and Evi are happy in each other's company and the parent/carer is at ease about everything. He/she is then free to go where the fancy takes, until 6pm (5pm on subsequent days).

It will be necessary for Evi to be able to contact the parent/carer by mobile phone at all times, as well as to have a back-up contact telephone number.

On your day of departure: Our guests are politely requested to vacate the Garden Room by 10am.

Suitability: To make sure everybody involved is safe and happy, it is absolutely necessary that a history of the condition (including possible medication requirements) for the special guest has been received by Evi & Gordon well before arrival. This can be either from the Social Services or the GP. We don't however ask to see your passport!.
